Meet Your Campaign Game Masters
What is a Celestial Game Master?
Our Celestial Game Masters (GM or also known as DM for Dungeon Master) are experienced tabletop players with years of expertise. Carefully chosen through a detailed interview process, they embody the qualities that matter most to us—compassion, creativity, fun, and the ability to foster an environment where everyone feels comfortable being unapologetically themselves.

As independent contractors, our Game Masters are here to guide you at every step. From learning the basics of gameplay and character creation to ensuring you feel at ease diving into the adventure, they’ll lead you through an enchanting fae-inspired storyline designed to bring your favourite fantasy moments to life.

Our diverse team spans various states, ages, and genders, ensuring a great match for your journey. To get the most out of the experience, we recommend committing to the six-month campaign—offering not only unforgettable adventures but also the opportunity to form lifelong friendships.

Meet Our One-Shot Game Master
If you're curious to try a single game, meet our incredibly talented one-shot leader, Taya Rose. In this session, you'll get a glimpse into the magical Celestial world we've created and embark on a thrilling three-hour adventure.

While one-shot games don't offer the depth of long-term campaigns, such as building expansive worlds, intricate scenarios, or forming lasting friendships, they’re a fantastic way to dive in and experience the fun of D&D for the first time. One-shot also have pre-determined characters so there is not the ability to create your own persona, but for newbies this can be an easy way to learn the game and jump right in.
Perfect for those wanting to give it a go!
When can I join?
We will do our utmost to meet the demand, though we know from our waitlist that initial spots may be limited. That said, the journey often reveals unexpected openings, and we hope there’s a place for everyone. If spaces fill up, we’ll open waitlists and explore adding new classes. We believe we’ve crafted a balanced selection of classes and times to start this magical adventure. Campaign game slots need to be booked into at least 48 hours prior to the start date. You will receive an email in the following order if you are in the below groups. All information will also always be published into the Facebook Private Groups.

Are you affiliated with a publisher?Celestial Events partners with QBD Australia for official midnight book launches, pre-sales and book sales. Celestial Events takes inspiration from our favourite fantasy authors such as SJMaas and Rebecca Yarros. With careful consideration and advice from our legal team, we ensure we do not breach any copyright laws when we host our fantasy events and have the appropriate trademarks and licences in place to operate. If we invite cosplay and/or actors to attend events they can choose to take on their interpretation of their favourite fantasy characters.

How do I volunteer?We accept volunteer applications for any students who are interested in Event Management or Marketing. Please contact us via the contact page for more information.

What is your policy on blocking or banning from the group?If any members support negative speech Celestial Events admin and moderators will remove the member from any social media groups. Our goal is to continue to provide a safe community for fantasy friends to meet like-minded individuals in a positive format.

What are the group rules and brand ethos?Celestial Events is a very caring community of fantasy book readers. Make sure you are aware of our group rules: ​ 1. Only positive comments and no thumbs down or negative. 2. No sales, advertising other events, self promotion or facilitating real-life meetups. 3. We take no sides in any political agenda, we are purely about the joy of fantasy and attending fantasy events in Australia. Divisive topics like stance on AI-art are not tolerated. 4. We will block and remove any members who are not showing the right ethos to protect our positive group. ​ Have a question, suggestion or need a bit more information, please always feel like you can CONTACT us and ask - we are here to help!

The event is sold out are there resale tickets?We use Tixel for any resale.

Can I sell a dress in the group?No. There are no sales in the group. we used to have this option however we removed it to avoid scams.

Can I organise a meetup with members of the group via the group?We do not allow real-life catch-up's via the group. Although we do our best to vet the members, we look out for your safety and do not allow this. If you want to have a deeper connection with members we have our paid membership group that allows for this type of interaction as the members are vetted and limited. Read more about it here.

I am an author can I advertise my book in the group?Any commercial posts will be declined. If you would like to sell into the group please email for our advertising packages.

Who are the moderators?The moderators are volunteers who help manage the page and what posts and comments are allowed. If you would like to apply for a moderator role please use the Contact Us page. Moderators are also often the lead volunteers at events.

Why do you have a no thumbs down rule?We do not allow any negativity in the group; even something as small as a thumbs down might negatively affect a members mental state. Members not able to comply will be suspended or removed in order to keep our group a safe positive space.
